A suspected electrical short-circuit caused a blaze that razed 30 rented rooms on Jalan Mangga XIV, Duri Kepa Urban Village, Kebon Jeruk, West Jakarta, Friday (6/19), at around 1 AM. There were no any casualties in the incident.

Head of West Jakarta Fire Handling and Rescue Sub-Department, Pardjoko relayed that his sub-department immediately deployed 14 fire trucks to the scene after he received a fire report. The firemen had trouble to put out the blaze as most of the buildings made from woods and plywood, thus the fire quickly grew up.
Rental Flats Provided to Ciliwung Riverbank Locals“We successfully put out the blaze about two hours later,” he expressed.
